From Research to Practice
Discover the research project that laid the foundation for the practical tools and resources presented throughout this website.

The project
This project originated from our Bachelor Thesis completed at the Geneva School of Health Sciences (HEdS).
Our research explored how nurses can support treatment adherence among adolescents living with asthma, with a particular focus on self-management, therapeutic education, healthcare transition, and the nursing role.
The insights gained from this work directly inspired the development of the three practical tools presented on this website.

Recognition and Dissemination
What began as a Bachelor Thesis evolved into a project aimed at generating a broader impact on clinical practice. Following its completion, the work was recognized through the HEdS Fund Award and the Geneva Lung League Award, highlighting its relevance for adolescent health and nursing care.
To promote knowledge transfer beyond the academic setting, the project was presented at Swiss scientific conferences, creating opportunities to share its findings and practical tools with healthcare professionals.
The work has also been accepted for publication in Soins Pédiatrie/Puériculture, supporting the wider dissemination of evidence-based strategies to improve the care of adolescents living with asthma.
